Rather than being packaged in a box, this twin set of playing cards come in fabric pouch. Each deck in it’s own tuck box for added protection. Size: 4.25″ x 5.75″ (63mm x 95mm) Includes: 2 Decks of 52 cards. Please note, these cards are not suitable for games of duplicate bridge.

About Pendleton Woollen Mills

Pendleton Woollen Mills have a long and colourful history. Started by Thomas Kay, an English settler in the USA, who built his life in the state of Oregon, eventually building his own mill in 1893. Pendleton under the direction of Thomas Key’s daughter Fannie, established trading connections with the Indigenous communities, often creating blankets for Indigenous peoples incorporating culturally significant designs into “trading blankets”. These Indigenous designs have become the hallmark of Pendleton and happily the blankets in turn became loved and of cultural importance to many Native American Indigenous Tribes.

The non-standard size playing cards, 63 x 95mm, have two index faces suitable for right-handed players. The card faces 2-10 have suit symbols in non-standard colours, and J-A featuring stylised designs. The card backs are decorated with Pendleton’s hallmark patterns, inspired and informed by Indigenous American artwork. A fun twin pack ideal for family games.
