This wonderful Pelissier Embassy fixed leg Bridge Playing Card Table is available in two different finishes – Mahogany and Mid Oak – surfaced with classic green baize. The baize playing surface is surrounded with a polished wood frame approximately 6cms wide.

Pelissier’s Embassy fixed leg bridge playing card table is made by hand in their Yorkshire factory. It is a robust, hand-crafted card table with a wool-rich baize. The Embassy is the fixed leg version of The Royal, with the added stability benefits of a fixed leg table. Even with fixed legs the Embassy is incredibly quick and easy to pack away. The four legs can simply be detached in a few seconds without any tools!

Which Table Should I Choose – Royal or Embassy

Only the legs and their locking mechanism differ between these two models – the table tops are the same. Choose the Royal if you only plan to put the table up for an hour or two, then put it away again. This is because the Royal table is the quicker of the two models to fold flat. However, if you intend to keep the table erected for days or even months at a time and only need to put it away occasionally, then the Embassy is the better choice. The sturdier legs and bolts holding them in place make a much more rigid and substantial table and the better choice when it’ll be assembled for longer periods of time. Additionally, the legs on the Embassy are a little longer in length, giving you a few centimeters more leg room – great if you’re tall or need a slightly higher surface to work at. Furthermore, the more substantial legs are in proportion to the wider table top of the Embassy, making a very visually balanced and attractive piece of furniture.

Quality Wood Construction

Pelissier’s Embassy fixed leg playing card table for bridge is handmade using quality materials. The frame of the table is made from beech. A wood much prized for its strength, close grain, light colour and natural beauty. The Embassy comes in two finishes. You can choose a Mid Oak finish or a darker Mahogany finish. To get the Mahogany finish, the beech wood, has three coats of woodstain and then varnished to a beautiful mahogany-colour finish. This method keeps the natural grain of the wood.

The Embassy’s table top is made using water-resistant MDF board. This is then covered with premium baize with an 80% wool content. With its smooth bevelled edges the Embassy has a contemporary feel and will complement modern interiors beautifully. This is hugely popular table having elegant aesthetics with a very competitive price.

The Elite measures 80cms square and stands 72cms high.
